A man who was shot in the leg Thursday morning told police the shooting happened on the Far South Side.

The 18-year-old was shot in the left leg and was listed in good condition at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn as of noon, according to Chicago Police.

The man said he was shot in the 10300 block of South Prairie, but police have not yet found a crime scene, and said the man is not cooperating with investigators.

A police source said he is an admitted gang member.
