Antioch 12, Northside 0 – Travis Slywka finished 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in the victory for the Sequoits. John Petty went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBI.

Illinois Lutheran 9, Mendota 7 – Winning pitcher Grant Farmer struck out four, allowing only one run over two innings for the Chargers. He also went 2-for-3 with three RBI and three runs.

Niles North 16, Schurz 1 – Robbie Schwert finished 2-for-2 with four RBI in the win for the Vikings (16-6). Mark David also went 2-for-2 with a homer, triple and four RBI.

Stevenson 11, Rolling Meadows 1 – Michael Kingery struck out five and surrendered five hits over five innings to earn the win for the Patriots (12-6-1). Jimmy Marchese finished 1-for-4 with four RBI while Robby McGaha went 1-for-3 with three RBI.

SOFTBALL

Kaneland 6, Quincy Notre Dame 2 – Meg Cohrs finished 3-for-4 with a triple, double and three RBI in the victory for the Knights. Paige Kuefler went 2-for-3 with a homer, double and three RBI.

Niles North 12, Prospect 8 – Juliana Livieri recorded the win for the Vikings striking out five while also allowing seven runs over five and a third innings. Danielle Strejc boosted her batting average thanks to a perfect 4-for-4 day, including a double in the third inning.

Wauconda 8, Fremd 5 – Kayla Wedl pitched a complete game for the Bulldogs (12-9) striking out 13 and surrendering four hits. She also belted two home runs in the win.

METAMORA

Lincoln-Way West 7, Brimfield 0 -Amanda Ruskowsky earned the shutout win on the mound for the Warriors. She also went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run. Dani Morgan finished a perfect 4-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and three runs.

GIRLS SOCCER

Homewood-Flossmoor 2, Oak Forest 1 – Danielle Holliday led the Vikings (3-11-0) scoring both goals. Gita Connolly had an assist while Liz Voelker made nine saves in goal.

Lake Forest 2, Libertyville 1 – Paige Bourne scored both goals for the Scouts (7-3-2) in their victory.

Naperville Central 3, Palatine 2 – The Red Hawks (9-4-1) came away with the victory after Kinzly Dressler made three saves in goal.

U-High 3, De La Salle 1 – Kendall Cunningham scored all three goals in the win for U-High (4-3).

Warren 4, Highland Park 0 – Rebecca Pineau scored two goals for Warren (4-5-2) in their shutout win. Alliyah Paker finished with a goal and an assist while Grace Wiltgen added a goal. Abby Vrabel made an assist, and Liz Carrano made three saves.

BARRINGTON

New Trier 4, Rockford Boylan 0 – Natalie Laser led the Trevians (14-0) with two goals as they continued undefeated. Dani Kaufman recorded her ninth shutout win.

Huntley 1, Hinckley-Big Rock 1 – Miah Thompson had a goal with an assist from Abril Santos in the tie for the Red Raiders (0-14-1).

Huntley 1, Sterling 0, PK – Keeper Kienzler made three saves in the win for the Red Raiders (1-14-1).

FREEPORT

Antioch 5, Woodstock 0 – The Sequoits improved to 5-7-2 after their victory over Woodstock. Mikayla Abbeduto had two goals in the shutout while Courtney Coleman and Tessa Furlong finished with a goal and an assist each.

Grayslake North 3, Vernon Hills 2, PK – Corryn Smith scored a goal while Sammie Vilwock had a goal and an assist in the win for the Knights (14-0-2). Abby Rice made six saves.

Grayslake North 8, Woodstock North 0 – Cammy Cowperthwaite made two goals for the Knights (13-0-2) to help them gain the victory. Maddie Wilkinson finished with a goal and two assists.

NILES WEST

Nazareth 3, Niles West 2, title – Claire Ramsey, Kelly Renehan and Alison Salata each scored a goal for the Roadrunners to win the championship game.

Nazareth 1, Maine West 0, semifinals – Lily Franko had the only goal for the Roadrunners in the semifinal game.

OAK PARK-RIVER FOREST

Oak Park-River Forest 13, Rolling Meadows 1 – Jilly Cronin scored three goals for the Huskies (23-1) in their dominating win. Genevieve Curry finished with a goal and four steals while Claire Rolfers and Mia Andreoli each made two goals. Jordin Hale made 10 saves in goal.

Oak Park-River Forest 11, Hinsdale Central 3 – Genevieve Curry led the Huskies (23-2) with three goals in their victory. Mia Andreoli and Jilly Cronin had two goals each while Jordin Hale recorded nine saves.

ST. EDWARD

Streamwood 5, Harvest Christian 0, title – Tawny Carroll scored all five goals for the Sabres (7-7) to give them the title win.

Streamwood 3, Westminster Christian 1 – Tawny Carroll led the Sabres (6-7) with two goals in their victory. Alondra Blanco added a goal as well.

Loyola d. Lake Park 25-18, 27-25, quarterfinals – Jakub Mazurek made 10 kills in the victory for the Ramblers (18-4). Connor Kreb finished with nine kills while Jack Talaga made 26 assists.

Loyola d. New Trier 25-21, 21-25, 25-16, 25-14, semifinals – Connor Kreb and Jakub Mazurek made 11 kills each for the Ramblers (19-4), in their semifinal win. Jack Talaga had 32 assists.

WW South d. Deerfield 25-20, 25-20 – Zack Meyer led in kills with 14 for the Tigers (12-2) in their victory. Ben Carpio finished with 27 assists and three kills.

WW South d. Lake Park 25-22, 26-24 – The Tigers (13-3) gained the win in two sets. Zack Meyer finished with nine kills and seven digs. Ben Carpio had 21 assists, five digs and two blocks.

MINOOKA

Joliet West d. Andrew 25-19, 25-16 – Juwann Jackson made six kills and seven digs for Joliet West in their victory. Luke Van Eck and Chris Beltran finished with 10 digs each.

Joliet West d. Plainfield South 25-20, 25-17 – Juwann Jackson had nine kills, two digs and two assists in the win for Joliet West. Chris Beltran made nine digs.

PALATINE

Stevenson d. Lake Zurich 25-15, 25-20 – Jesse Kesner led in kills for the Patriots (12-7) with 10 while also finishing with three digs. Grant Maleski made seven kills and five digs.

Stevenson d. Libertyville 15-25, 25-23, 25-20 – The Patriots (13-7) defeated Libertyville with Grant Maleski making 22 kills and nine digs. Eric Zalewski finished with 31 assists while Luke Feder led in digs with 20.
