A pair of teenage boys were shot Sunday afternoon in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The boys, ages 13 and 15, were in an alley in the 1000 block of North Harding about 2:15 p.m. when two unknown males walked out of a gangway and shot them, police said.

The 13-year-old was shot in the knee, while the older victim was shot in the buttocks, police said. They were taken to Stroger Hospital, where their conditions had stabilized.
