Pamela Anderson divorces Rick Salomon — yet again

To paraphrase: The second time was not the charm as Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon officially divorced for the second time. The former “Baywatch” actress had filed for divorce from Salomon in February, citing irreconcilable differences.

In a joint statement released Wednesday, the two stars, both age 47, confirmed their divorce was finalized Monday. They also added, “Public divorces can be harsh and cruel – we apologize to our families and friends for any hurt and embarrassment we have caused – we have come to an amicable agreement and are moving on. There are private and personal family sensitivities to consider and we retract any hurtful comments made in haste and distaste. We wish each other and our families well.”

The couple had been fighting a war of words in which Anderson accused her husband of physical and emotional abuse, including trying to strangle her during sex, and acquired a restraining order. Salomon’s rep had dismissed the claims as “ridiculous.”
