Marengo goes 2-0 at Freeport Tournament

Marengo’s softball team went 2-0 Friday at the Freeport Tournament, defeating Metamora, 6-0, and Normal U-High, 12-4, in six innings.

Mariah Dionne struck out 11 against Metamora in a complete-game win. The Indians scored four runs in the sixth inning, two on a double by Jessica Turner.
