Teen shot in Grand Boulevard

A 17-year-old boy was shot Friday evening in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood on the South Side.

The teenager suffered a graze wound to the buttocks in the 5100 block of South Champlain at 6 p.m., police said. Circumstances around the shooting were not immediately known.

He took himself to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, where he was in good condition, police said.
