A 25-year-old man has been accused of stealing an iPad from a fire station on Tuesday.

Antoine Jones was charged with theft valued between $500 and $10,000, court records show.

Jones allegedly walked into the fire station at 55 W. Illinois at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday and stole an iPad, police said. He was later arrested, but details on his arrest were not available.

On Wednesday, Cook County Judge Peggy Chiampas ordered Jones held on a $25,000 bond, court records show. His next court appearance is scheduled for May 15.

Jones pleaded guilty to a criminal trespassing charge in July 2010 and was sentenced to 12 months of court supervision, court records show.
