A West Side man charged with killing three people in North Lawndale in 2010, during one of the bloodiest weekends in city history, has been ordered held on $2 million bail.

Felix Hollimon, 27, of the 1400 block of South Spaulding, was arrested Thursday afternoon in the 3700 block of South Ellis, and appeared in court Saturday.

Holimon had been sought on a warrent charging him with three counts of first-degree murder in the June 19, 2010, shooting deaths of Waseem Smith, 25, Barry Smith, 45, and Leon Smith, 28, in the 2200 block of South Springfield.

The three men were found dead just after 3 a.m. that day — two of them in separate cars, the third on the street outside one of the cars.

Their killings happened during bloody summer weekend in which 10 people were killed and nearly 60 others — men, women and children — were shot and wounded.
