Man shot in Austin

A man was shot early Sunday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 19-year-old man was outside in the 300 block of North Latrobe about 2:50 a.m. when someone walked up and fired a shot, police said.

The man was shot in the buttocks and taken to Loretto Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
