Man shot in Park Manor

A man was shot Sunday night in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side.

The man, 29, was walking in the 7000 block of South Vincennes about 11:15 p.m. when someone exited a light-colored vehicle nearby and fired shots in his direction, police said. The shooter then jumped back in the vehicle, which sped away southbound.

The man was shot in the side and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
