Tuesday’s Cubs-Cardinals game has been postponed due to the forecast of rain and sub-freezing wind chills throughout the evening, the Cubs announced Tuesday afternoon.

A make-up date for the postponement has yet to be established. The Cubs are encouraging fans to retain tickets for the game to use for the rescheduled contest.

The team has not made any announcement about Wednesday’s game, with first pitch scheduled at 1:20 p.m. at Wrigley Field.

The Cubs lost to the Cardinals, 3-0, on Sunday in the MLB opener.
