Man shot in Englewood

A man was shot early Saturday in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 21-year-old walked into Saint Bernard Hospital at 1:35 a.m. with gunshot wounds to his chest and hand, police said. His condition has since stabilized.

He told investigators he was in the 6400 block of South Justine when a male walked up and fired shots.

A police source said the victim is a documented gang member.
