Yorkville rebounded from its sweep at the hands of Kaneland two weeks ago with a Northern Illinois Big 12 East sweep of DeKalb this week, but it was hardly conventional.

Despite the fact that DeKalb is 0-9 in conference play, the Barbs gave Yorkville all it could handle. The wild series saw the Foxes outscore DeKalb 34-30, but still manage to get three wins.
