SHARE Extra-alarm fire reported in Burnham

Crews from multiple south suburbs were battling an extra-alarm fire in Burnham Monday morning.

The fire was reported at 145th and Muskegon about 3:30 a.m., according to representatives from the Burnham, South Holland and Calumet City fire departments.

Firefighters were still at the scene at 5:30 a.m. from those departments, but no one could comment on the level of the blaze’s alarm.

Officials declined to prove additional details.
