Man shot on Near West Side

A man was shot on the Near West Side on Sunday night.

The 22-year-old was walking on the sidewalk in the 2300 block of West Monroe at 10:30 p.m. when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the right arm, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
