Boy, 16, hurt in South Chicago shooting

A 16-year-old boy may have shot himself in the leg Tuesday night in the South Chicago neighborhood.

About 9 p.m., the boy suffered a gunshot wound to the leg in the 8800 block of South Saginaw, police said. The is injury is thought to be self-inflicted, police said.

He was taken to a hospital, but further details were not available.
