A referee should never decide the outcome of a game, but the Bulls have a better winning percentage when a certain ref is officiating the game.

Veteran referee Joe Crawford, who’s officiating his 38th NBA season, has reffed seven Bulls games in his career, and the Bulls have won five of those games.

Crawford is known for being a strict ref and over-emphasizing his calls. Sometimes Crawford is in the wrong place at the wrong time, as well.

Crawford almost ejected a ballboy once.
