In 1988, Bulls legend Michael Jordan signed a contract with Quaker Oats to be the face of the Gatorade drink.

Now, instead of being the face of the commercials, Jordan narrated the lastly Gatorade commercial.

The original Gatorade commercial Jordan was featured in was the “Be like Mike” campaign, which aired in 1992.

The “Be like Mike” slogan is still prominent today. Gatorade’s 50th-anniversary commercial was a new rendition of the “Be like Mike” campaign with modern athletes.
