The Marquette Park Golf Course on the Southwest Side has been the target of vandals for the third time in two weeks.

The most recent incident was reported about 8 a.m. Tuesday when workers returned to the course in the 6700 block of South Kedzie and found a storage shed with broken windows, missing padlocks and damaged items inside, Chicago Police said.

About 10:10 a.m. Sunday, workers discovered missing golf clubs from the same shed, police said. Someone had broken in through the window.

The first burglary was uncovered May 1 when workers found broken windows in the shed and damage to the back door, police said. Several miscellaneous items had been taken.

Police did not immediately have an estimate of the value of the stolen items. Area Central detectives are investigating.
