Police are asking for the public’s help in find a man missing from the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side since Wednesday afternoon.
Edwin Perez, 53, was last seen about 2 p.m. Wednesday in the 2300 block of North Kedvale, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.
He suffers from dementia, police said. He has been reported missing several times in the past and has been located in west suburban Oak Park and in the northern suburbs.
Perez is described as a 5-foot-6, 170-pound Hispanic man with brown eyes, black and gray hair, a medium complexion and a tattoo of a lion on his chest, police said. He was wearing a Chicago Bears jacket and blue and white pajama pants.
