Charges are pending against three people after a Wednesday night crash involving a carjacking in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Three suspects approached a 32-year-old man entering his 2002 Chevrolet Malibu at 11:08 p.m. in the 1800 block of North Clybourn, police said. They implied they had a weapon, took the car and drove off in it.

Officers spotted the car a short time later and began a traffic pursuit that ended when the Malibu hit a restaurant sign in the 1900 block of West Fullerton, police said.

A 21-year-old man and two 17-year-old boys were arrested after the crash, and charges against them were pending Thursday morning, according to police. No injuries were reported in the crash or the carjacking.
