Man shot in Austin

A man was shot in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side Wednesday evening.

At 6:13 p.m., the 25-year-old man was driving eastbound in the alley in the 4900 block of West Superior when someone standing in a group of males nearby fired shots, police said.

He was shot in the shoulder and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
