Man shot in West Pullman

A man was shot Friday night in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

About 9:50 p.m., the 33-year-old was standing on the sidewalk in the 11900 block of South Wallace when a male fired shots from the alley, police said.

The man was shot in the ankle and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
