Three shot in Englewood

Three men were shot Friday afternoon in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The men — ages 19, 21, and 22 — were shot in the 6000 block of South Wentworth at 1:55 p.m., police said. All three were taken to Stroger Hospital.

The 22-year-old was shot in the head and leg, and his condition had stabilized, police said. The 19-year-old, whose condition was also stabilized, was shot in the right shoulder, police said.

The 21-year-old’s leg was grazed by a bullet, police said. He refused medical treatment.

A police source said all three are documented gang members.
