Man shot in Chatham

A man was shot in the South Side Chatham neighborhood Friday afternoon.

The man, 23, was walking in the 900 block of East 82nd Street at 3:25 p.m. when he heard gunshots and felt pain, police said. He was shot in the leg and back.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was in good condition.
