A man and a teenage boy were seriously injured in a shooting Saturday afternoon in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The two were shot multiple times about noon in the 1400 block of North Springfield, police said.

The boy was shot three times in the groin and the man, 26, was shot in the abdomen, leg and hip, police said. They were both taken to Norwegian American Hospital in serious condition.
