A man and a teenage boy werewounded in a shooting Saturday morning in the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood.
The 25-year-old man and 17-year-old boy were walking in the 3900 block of South Calumet at 10:55 a.m. when someone approached and fired at them, police said.
The manwas shot in the hand and back and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition, police said. The teen transported himself to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition with a graze wound to the left side of his torso.
