A man was shot and seriously wounded in the West Englewood neighborhood Sunday night on the South Side.

The man, 23, was shot in the leg at 8:13 p.m. in the 7300 block of South Claremont, police said. He later showed up at Holy Cross Hospital, but it wasn’t known whether he took himself there or was transported by paramedics, police said.

He was later transferred to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was in serious condition.
