A 19-year-old man was shot during an argument Monday evening in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

About 5 p.m., a male arguing with the victim in the 6100 block of South Bishop pulled out a gun and shot him in the left leg, police said.

The 19-year-old was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition had stabilized.

No one was in custody as Area South detectives investigated.
