A man was killed and another man was critically wounded in a South Shore neighborhood shooting early Monday.

Officers heard gunshots about 12:10 a.m. and found two men shot in the 7800 block of South South Shore Drive, police said.

Morial Ewing, 28, of the 8100 block of South Bennett, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:40 a.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
