Amy Schumer to perform Wednesday at Chicago comedy club

With barely 24 hours notice, red-hot comedian Amy Schumer has announced a rare Chicago club show set for Wednesday night.

The Comedy Central star will perform at 10 p.m. at Laugh Factory Chicago, 3175 N. Broadway. Tickets, $30, are available at laughfactory.com or by calling 773-327-3175.

It’s an unusually intimate booking for Schumer, who headlined at the far bigger Chicago Theatre in March.

She’s the reigning viral video comedy queen of the moment, with bits from her current season of “Inside Amy Schumer” making regular appearance on Twitter feeds and Facebook pages.

Last week Schumer announced a June 18 Harris Theater performance for charity with the cast of her upcoming movie “Trainwreck.”
