SHARE Man, 18, shot in West Rogers Park

An 18-year-old man was shot early Saturday in the West Rogers Park neighborhood.

The man was shot in the right thigh about 4:15 a.m. after three males approached him in the 2200 block of West Touhy, police said.

He was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where his condition had stabilized.

Police added the man is a documented gang member.

Three people were shot Sunday night in the parking lot of Six Flags Great America in Gurnee. Numerous police agencies responded to reports of a shooting and helped to evacuate the park.
