Sami Saliba drives Vernon Hills’ blowout win over Lake Forest

When Sami Saliba gets hot at the plate, it turns the rest of the Vernon Hills softball team into an offensive machine.

When she is perfect, the Cougars can dismantle an opponent.

Saliba led Vernon Hills to a 15-5 victory over Lake Forest on Friday, May 1, going 5-for-5 with three triples to drive a 21-hit Cougars attack.
