Man shot in Austin

A man was shot in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side Wednesday night.

About 9:45 p.m., the 31-year-old was shot in the lower right leg in the 5200 block of West Adams, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he condition had stabilized, police said.
