A man was shot to death Wednesday morning in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, police said.

The victim, thought to be between 25 and 30, was shot in the chest in the 6300 block of South Bell about 11:45 a.m., police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
