Man injured in Woodlawn neighborhood shooting

A man was injured in a Woodlawn neighborhood shooting Thursday evening on the South Side.

The 56-year-old was shot in the foot about 7:30 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Champlain, police said.

He was taken to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
