Man shot in Albany Park

A man was shot Sunday evening in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

About 5:35 p.m., the 19-year-old was standing outside in the 4500 block of North St. Louis when a white vehicle approached and the man got into an argument with someone inside, police said.

The person inside the vehicle then opened fire, shooting the 19-year-old in the leg, police said.

He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
