Man shot in Austin

A 20-year-old man was wounded in a shooting early Tuesday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The man was sitting on a porch with a group of people about 12:35 a.m. in the 1400 block of North Lotus when a light-colored car drove up and someone inside fired shots, police said.

The man was shot in the foot and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
