A teenage boy and a man were wounded in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in the South Side Marquette Park neighborhood.

The 16-year-old and a 22-year-old were walking in the 7000 block of South Talman about 2:40 p.m. when an SUV pulled up next to them and someone inside opened fire, police said.

The teen was shot in the chest and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, Sweeney said.

The man was shot in the leg and was also taken to Christ Medical Center, where his condition stabilized, police said.
