A man was shot in the shoulder Tuesday afternoon in the South Loop.
The 24-year-old was in the 2100 block of South Wabash about 3:15 p.m. when he was shot in the shoulder, police said.
He made it on his own to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, but was transferred to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital, police said. His condition has stabilized.
