Man shot in ankle in Roseland

A man was shot Wednesday afternoon in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The shooting happened in the 0-100 block of East 100^th Place about 1 p.m., police News Affairs Officer Bari Lemmon said.

A 29-year-old man was shot in the left ankle and taken to Roseland Community Hospital, where his condition stabilized, Lemmon said.
