Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old girl who went missing last Thursday from the Oakland neighborhood on the South Side.

Marlene Thompson was last seen May 21 in the 4100 block of South Ellis, according to a statement from Chicago Police. She is known to frequent the area of the 7500 block of South Homan and might be traveling to Madison, Wisconsin, police said.

Thompson is a 5-foot-4, 150-pound black girl, with brown eyes, brown hair and a medium complexion, police said.

Anyone with information regarding Thompson’s whereabouts is asked to contact Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
