Police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who went missing Wednesday from the West Side Austin neighborhood.

Iris McCaskill, 16, went missing from the area of Long and Chicago avenues, according to an alert from Area North detectives.

McCaskill is described as a 5-foot-4, 130-pound black girl with brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion, the alert said.
