SHARE Police: Delivery drivers robbed at gunpoint on Northwest Side

Police issued an alert Monday warning of two recent armed robberies of delivery drivers on the Northwest Side.

The male drivers were each making a delivery when they were approached by groups who robbed them at gunpoint before running away, according to the community alert from Chicago Police.

The robberies happened at 12:22 a.m. April 25 in the 4100 block of North Marmora; and at 1:50 a.m. May 3 in the 4900 block of North Normandy.

The suspects in the Marmora robbery are described as three males, one of whom is a Hispanic man between 18-25, 5-foot-8 and 150-180 pounds. In the Normandy robbery, the suspects wore dark sweat shirts and bandannas, police said.
