Man shot in thigh in Gresham

A man was shot Monday afternoon in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

The 25-year-old said he was walking eastbound in the 1600 block of West 81st Street about 12:50 p.m. when two males walked up and one fired a shot, police said.

He was shot in the right thigh and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said.

The two suspects ran off after the shooting.
