A woman was shot Sunday afternoon in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 26-year-old was standing outside about 3:55 p.m. in the 400 block of South Kostner when she heard gunfire and realized she’d been shot in the abdomen, police said.

She drove herself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was listed in good condition, police said.
