SHARE Tiffany Giese gives boost as Huntley rolls past Dundee-Crown

When Dundee-Crown loaded the bases in the third inning Tuesday, Huntley freshman Tiffany Giese jogged in from right field to take over the pitching duties.

All she did from there was rise to the occasion.

“I just had to hit my spots. I had to come in and do what I do,” Giese said. “My hand was a little cold and my warmups were bad, but I got used to it.”

Giese shut the door on the Chargers and only gave up one hit in 4 2/3 innings, helping Huntley to a 9-1 Fox Valley Valley win.
