After dropping five straight games against a murderer’s row of competition, St. Laurence’s season was in danger of spiraling further out of control against St. Rita.

Instead, senior Kevin Aderman grabbed the reins and put St. Laurence back on track.

Aderman singled and scored in the fifth and seventh innings, and his walk-off single in the eighth gave St. Laurence a much needed 6-5 Catholic League Blue victory on Wednesday.
