SHARE Police: Avid canoeist reported missing along with bike and canoe

An avid canoe enthusiast has been reported missing from his home in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side along with his homemade canoe.

Federico Borman, 24, has been missing from his home near Christiana and Wilson since about 8 a.m. Wednesday, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Borman is described as a 5-foot-7, 150-pound white man with brown hair, brown eyes and medium complexion. He was last seen wearing orange and black gym shoes.

Police said he is an avid canoe enthusiast, and his homemade canoe and blue road bike are also missing. Borman lives near the north branch of the Chicago River.
