SHARE 15-year-old missing Austin girl found safe

A 15-year-old girl reported missing from her West Side home Tuesday morning has been found safe, police said.

Abrianna Kirk, who goes by “Bri,” was missing from her home near Augusta and Menard since about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police. Her mother later found a note saying she might harm herself.

Police said Thursday morning that Abrianna had been found safe.
